River Oaks Shopping Center

River Oaks Shopping center was originally developed along with River Oaks to serve the growing community. Now River Oaks shopping center is home to one of my all time favorite Houston restaurants, Brasserie 19, and a plethora of other retail that will put a twinkle in your eye – with the newest member being a long awaited brick and mortar for Ballard Designs. Brasserie (also locally referred to as B19) has quite a large patio with self parking and valet & has what I would call the best people watching in all of Houston. I live about 5 minutes away, just North in Rice Military, and I have loved coming here for the past 10 years.

If you want to live “at” the River Oaks Shopping center, you’ve got two choices: The newest player is The Driscoll offering L.A. vibes with it’s modern and sleek design. The longest standing is River Oaks Gardens. ROG was developed in between 1960-1970 and is a little over two acres of condos that are both for sale and lease.
